  1. Lightly coat the intake plenum O-rings with engine oil.
  2. Install the O-ring seals and intake plenum.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the intake plenum bolts.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the intake plenum bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  6. Install the intake plenum bolt caps.

  8. Install the crankcase ventilation tube adapter.
  9. Install the crankcase ventilation tube adapter bolt.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the crankcase ventilation tube adapter bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  11. Install the vacuum lines to the crankcase vent tube adapter.

  12. Object Number: 797516  Size: SH
  13. Install the ECM bracket.
  14. Install the ECM bracket bolts.
  15. Tighten

        • Tighten the ECM bracket bolts to the intake manifold plenum to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
        • Tighten the ECM bracket bolt to the cylinder head to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  16. Install the ECM.
  17. Install the ECM nuts.
  18. Tighten
    Tighten the ECM nuts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  19. Lightly coat the throttle body O-rings with clean engine oil.
  20. Install the throttle body with O-rings.
  21. Install the throttle body bolts.
  22. Tighten
    Tighten the throttle body bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
