- Lightly coat the intake plenum O-rings with engine oil.
- Install the O-ring seals and intake plenum.
- Install the intake plenum bolts.
- Install the intake plenum bolt caps.
- Install the crankcase ventilation tube adapter.
- Install the crankcase ventilation tube adapter bolt.
- Install the vacuum lines to the crankcase vent tube adapter.
- Install the ECM bracket.
- Install the ECM bracket bolts.
- Install the ECM.
- Install the ECM nuts.
- Lightly coat the throttle body O-rings with clean engine oil.
- Install the throttle body with O-rings.
- Install the throttle body bolts.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the intake plenum bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the crankcase ventilation tube adapter bolts to 8 N·m
(71 lb in).
Tighten
| • | Tighten the ECM bracket bolts to the intake manifold plenum to 8 N·m (71 lb in). |
| • | Tighten the ECM bracket bolt to the cylinder head to 20 N·m (15 lb ft). |
Tighten
Tighten the ECM nuts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

Tighten the throttle body bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
