Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2003 🢒 CTS - RHD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls - 2.6L and 3.2L 🢒 Intake Resonance Switchover Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the intake air resonator. Refer to Intake Air Resonator Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake resonance switchover valve.

    3. Object Number: 819414 Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts securing the intake resonance switchover valve in the intake air resonator.
  4. Remove the intake resonance switchover valve and O-ring from the intake air resonator. Discard the O-ring.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 819414 Size: SH

    Important: Ensure the O-ring is properly positioned to the switchover valve.

  1. Install the switchover valve and O-ring into the intake air resonator.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the intake resonance switchover valve bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the intake resonance switchover valve bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  3. Connect the vacuum hose to the intake resonance switchover valve.
  4. Install the intake air resonator. Refer to Intake Air Resonator Replacement .
