Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2003 🢒 CTS - RHD 🢒 Driveline/Axle 🢒 Rear Drive Axle 🢒 Ring Gear and Differential Housing Assemble

    Object Number: 777543 Size: SH
  1. For both sides, install the washer (2) onto the axle side gear (3).

    2. Important: To hold gear in place it may be necessary to use bearing grease.

  2. Install the axle side gears (3) and washers (2) into the differential carrier (1).
  3. Install the washers (5) on the spider gears (4).
  4. Install the spider gears (4) and washers (5) while holding the axle side gears (3) into the differential carrier (1).

  5. Use the differential pin (1) to align the gears.

    6. Object Number: 895610 Size: SH
  6. Rotate aligned gears slowly until holes in the differential carrier (2) and the side gears align with each other, then install the differential pin (1).

    7. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  7. Install the ring gear (2) onto the differential carrier (3).
  8. Install the ten ring gear bolts (1) to align the gear to the hub.

    9. Tighten
    Tighten the ten ring gear bolts slowly in a criss-cross pattern to 190 N·m (140 lb ft).
