Brake Pedal Assembly Replacement LHD

1. Remove the brake pedal to cowl mounting nuts.



2. Remove the IP carrier assembly, to gain access to the brake pedal assembly to IP carrier mounting nuts. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
3. Remove the brake pedal assembly to the IP carrier mounting nuts (1).
4. Remove the brake pedal assembly (2).

1. Install the brake pedal assembly (2) to the IP carrier.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the brake pedal assembly to IP carrier mounting nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the brake pedal assembly to IP carrier mounting nuts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the IP assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
4. Install the brake pedal assembly to cowl mounting nuts

Tighten
Tighten the brake pedal assembly to cowl mounting nuts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

Brake Pedal Assembly Replacement RHD

1. Remove the brake pedal to cowl mounting nuts.



2. Remove the IP carrier assembly, to gain access to the brake pedal assembly to IP carrier mounting nuts (1). Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
3. Remove the brake pedal assembly to the IP carrier mounting nuts (1).
4. Remove the brake pedal assembly (2).

1. Install the brake pedal assembly (2) to the IP carrier.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the brake pedal assembly to IP carrier mounting nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the brake pedal assembly to IP carrier mounting nuts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the IP assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
4. Install the brake pedal assembly to cowl mounting nuts

Tighten
Tighten the brake pedal assembly to cowl mounting nuts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
