For 1990-2009 cars only
- Insert the stop lamp switch into the brake pedal assembly. Refer to Stop Lamp Switch Replacement .
- Push the stop lamp switch in until the switch retainer is fully seated.
- Carefully pull up on the pedal until you reach the most upward position and you hear a click. Push the barrow of the switch all the way into the stop lamp switch.
- Connect the electrical connector to the stop lamp switch.
Important: Fully depress the pedal before installing the stop lamp switch .
