    Object Number: 779331 Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Clean any dirt from around the fluid fill plug (1).
  3. Remove the transmission fluid fill plug and washer (1).

    4. Object Number: 2327 Size: SH
  4. Check that the transmission fluid level is even with the bottom of the fill plug hole.
  5. Add DEXRON®-III transmission fluid, if necessary.

    6. Notice: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in the Preface section.

  6. Install the transmission fluid fill plug and washer (1)

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the plug to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

  7. Lower the vehicle.
