Heater Inlet Hose Replacement LA3, LY9

Tools Required

J 38185 Spring Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.



2. Using J 38185 slide the clamp back on the heater inlet hose.
3. Remove the inlet heater hose (1) from the heater core.
4. Using J 38185 slide the clamp back on the heater inlet hose.
5. Remove the clamp and hose from the coolant inlet pipe.

1. Install the inlet heater hose to the coolant inlet pipe.
2. Using the J 38185 slide the clamp back into the original position on the hose.
3. Install the inlet heater hose (1) to the heater core.
4. Using the J 38185 slide the clamp back into the original position on the hose.
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
