Heater Outlet Hose Replacement LA3, LY9

Tools Required

J 38185 Spring Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
2. Using the J 38185 slide the hose clamp (1) back on the heater hose.



3. Remove the outlet heater hose from the afterboil pump.
4. Using J 38185 slide the hose clamp (1) back on the heater hose.



5. Remove the heater outlet hose from the heater core.
6. Remove the heater outlet hose.

1. Position the outlet heater hose assembly into the vehicle.
2. Install the outlet hose to the heater core.
3. Using the J 38185 slide the hose clamp (1) back into the original position on the hose.



4. Install the outlet hose to the afterboil pump.
5. Using the J 38185 slide the hose clamp (1) back into the original position on the hose.
6. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
