Windshield Wiper Blade Replacement LHD

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 497480  Size: SH

    Important: The wiper blades need to be cycled to the mid-wipe position to prevent the wiper arms contacting the rear edge of the hood.

  1. Cycle the wiper blades to the mid-wipe position on the glass.
  2. Push in the button of the wiper blade clip and remove the wiper blade from the inside radius of the wiper arm.

  3. Object Number: 497492  Size: SH
  4. Bring the wiper arm out through the opening in the wiper blade.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 497492  Size: SH
  1. Insert the hook of the wiper arm through the opening in the wiper blade.

  2. Object Number: 497481  Size: SH
  3. Position the wiper blade pivot in the inside radius of the wiper arm hook.
  4. Pull the wiper blade pivot into the wiper arm hook until the pivot locks into the hook.
  5. Ensure the blade is locked onto the wiper arm.
  6. Return the wiper blades to the park position.
  7. Operate the wipers and check for proper operation.

  6. Return the wiper blades to the park position.
  7. Operate the wipers and check for proper operation.
