Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 914897 Size: SH

    Important: Do not swap digital radio receivers between vehicles. Swapping digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock, "XM Theftlock" will be displayed.

  1. Remove the rear self panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors on the receiver.
  3. Remove the fasteners securing the receiver to the rear shelf carrier.
  4. Remove the receiver.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 914897 Size: SH
  1. Install the receiver to the rear carrier.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the fasteners securing the receiver to the rear carrier.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N·m (17 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Install the rear self panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Perform the setup procedure for the digital radio receiver. Refer to Digital Radio Receiver Setup .
