Repair Procedure


    Object Number: 706055  Size: SH
  1. Remove the shifter trim cover (1).

  2. Object Number: 706048  Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the shifter trim cover (1).

  4. Object Number: 706058  Size: SH
  5. Remove the console side trim panels (1).

  6. Object Number: 706062  Size: SH
  7. Remove the 6 screws (1) securing the console to the floor.
  8. Remove the console from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 706062  Size: SH
  1. Position the console on the floor of the vehicle.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the screws (1) securing the console to the floor.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  6. Object Number: 706048  Size: SH
  7. Install the shift indicator lamp electrical connector (2).

  8. Object Number: 706055  Size: SH
  9. Install the shifter trim cover (1).
