Removal Procedure
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
- Remove the door control module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement .
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
- Remove the door wire harness connector from the pillar by inserting a small flat bladed tool between the connector and the pillar and depress the retaining tabs on the connector.
- Disconnect the door wire harness from the body wire harness.
- Disconnect the door latch electrical connector.
- Disconnect the power window motor electrical connector.
- Disconnect the wiring harness rosebud retainers (1) from the inner front door panel.
- Push the wiring harness rubber grommet (2) into the door.
- Remove the grommet (3) from the door inner panel.
- Remove the wiring harness from the door.
Installation Procedure
- Install the front door wiring harness into the door.
- Connect the wiring harness rosebud retainers to the inner door panel.
- Install the grommet (2) to the door panel.
- Feed the trim panel and door control module connectors through the inner door panel.
- Install the grommet (3) to the inner door panel.
- Connect the door latch electrical connector.
- Connect the power window motor electrical connector.
- Connect the door wire harness connector to the body wire harness connector.
- Install the door wire harness connector to the hinge pillar.
- Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
- Install the door control module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement .
- Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
