Pressure Cycling Switch Replacement for Cadillac Catera 1997

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.



2. Disconnect the A/C control switch connection.
3. Remove the A/C control switch.

Important: Counterhold the compressor/condenser hose using a wrench.

1. Install the A/C control switch:

•	Use new O-rings.

•	Lubricate the new O-rings using mineral oil, 525 viscosity.

Tighten
Tighten the A/C control switch to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

2. Connect the A/C control switch connector.
3. Lower the vehicle.
