Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable.
Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing
any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to
the vehicle or its components.
- Remove the LF floor air outlet.
- Remove the actuator cover screws.
- Remove the actuator cover.
- Disconnect the LH temperature valve actuator
connector.
- Remove the actuator screws.
- Remove the actuator from the linkage.
- Remove the actuator from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the actuator in the vehicle.
- Install the actuator to the linkage.
- Install the actuator screws until fully seated and not stripped.
- Connect the actuator connector.
- Install the actuator cover.
- Install the actuator cover screws until fully seated and not stripped.
- Install the LF floor air outlet.
- Connect the battery negative cable.
- Reprogram applicable accessories.
- Synchronize the actuators:
• | Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. |
• | Simultaneously press and hold the AUTO and OFF buttons on the
ECC control panel for at least 5 seconds. |
