- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Disconnect the WSW pump connector.
- Turn the WSWA switch to the MIST position.
- Use the DMM to measure the voltage between terminal 1 of the WSW
pump connector and a known good ground.
Is the measured voltage within the specified value?

- Locate an open or a high resistance in circuits FA3 and/or FA80.
- Repair the open or the high resistance in circuits FA3 and/or
FA80.
- Replace the WSWA switch if these circuits are OK. Refer to
Windshield Wiper and Washer Switch Replacement - On Vehicle
in Steering Wheel and Column On Vehicle Service.
Is the repair or replacement complete?

| Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal
2 of the WSW pump connector and a known good ground.
Is the measured resistance within the specified value?
