Removal Procedure
- Slide the sunscreen all the way rearward.
- Open the glass panel.
- Remove the wind deflector. Refer to Sunroof Air Deflector Replacement .
- Remove the brush cover. Refer to Brush Cover Replacement .
- Remove the bolts (5), three from each side of the panel.
- Slide the glass panel rearward 13 mm (1/2 in) and lift out.
Installation Procedure
- Slide the glass panel forward 13 mm (1/2 in).
- Orient information/logo stenciled on glass toward the rear.
- Center the glass panel to the roof opening.
- Install the bolts (5), three to each side of glass panel.
- Install the brush cover. Refer to Brush Cover Replacement .
- Install the wind deflector. Refer to Sunroof Air Deflector Replacement .
- Close the glass panel.
- Slide the sunscreen panel closed.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the glass panel bolt to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
