Removal Procedure
- Mask off the lower edge of the hood to protect the paint.
- Cut across the top of each square in the grille.
- Remove the remaining two grille screws.
- Remove the grille.
- Reach under the core support to open the hood.
- Replace the hood release cable. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Replacement .
- Replace the grille. Refer to Grille Replacement in Exterior Trim.
Important: Check the hood operation before installing the new grille.
