Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Heater Replacement for Cadillac Catera 2001

1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the front seat cushion cover. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Replacement .
3. Remove seat cushion heater element by:




3.1.	Cut along seams on the inside of the seat cover, being careful not to cut through the front side of the seat cover.

3.2.	Cut the heater element electrical wiring.

3.3.	Remove the heater element and wiring from the seat cover.

1. Install the front seat cushion heating element to the seat cover.



2. Install seat cushion heater element electrical wiring to the original position of the old wiring harness.
3. Fold over ends of new heater element and tape to the seat cushion cover.
4. Install the front seat cushion cover. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Replacement .
5. Install the front seat. Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Replacement .
