Shift Control Linkage Replacement for Cadillac Catera 2001

1. Position the shift lever in NEUTRAL.
2. Raise and support vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.



3. Remove the shift control linkage retaining clips.
4. Remove the shift control linkage.

1. Install the shift control linkage.
2. Install the shift control linkage retaining clips.
3. Adjust the shift linkage. Refer to Shift Control Linkage Adjustment .
4. Lower the vehicle.
