LOOSE LUGGAGE CARRIER NUTS P/N FOR NEW JACK NUTS

MODELS AFFECTED: 1982, 1983 AND 1984 CIMARRON

Some 1982, 1983 and 1984 Cimarrons may experience a loose rear deck luggage carrier caused by loose carrier rail, rubber well nuts. (Refer to Item #6 in Figure 1)

To correct this condition, remove the loose nut(s) and apply an acrylic chromate primer to the deck lid holes. Replace the loose nut(s) with replacement part number 1623436 and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 in. lbs.) torque.

For warranty purposes, use Operation No. R9990 at .2 hours.
