CADILLAC VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER INFORMATION
Each 1983 Cadillac automobile or commercial chassis carries a 17-digit vehicle identification number used for license and insurance identification and in general reference to the automobile. The number is located on a plate riveted to the windshield lower frame at the driver's side of the car where it is visible through the windshield.
