SERVICEMAN BULLETIN UPDATES CORRECTIONS/CHANGES LISTED

MODELS AFFECTED: 1982-1984 CIMARRONS 1984 DEVILLES AND FLEETWOOD BROUGHAMS 1982-1984 SEVILLES AND ELDORADOS 1985 FWD DEVILLES AND FLEETWOODS

The listed Serviceman Bulletins require the following corrections. Please update your bulletins to include these changes.

Bulletin No. T 81-68A The part number 7840380 in the second File in Group 3B paragraph of Section "A. Power Steering Number 5 Valve Ring Wear" is incorrect and Date June'84 should read: Models Affected 82-84 G part number 7846635.

Bunetin No. T-85-38 The second paragraph should be changed File in Group 7 to read: Number 115 Starting on April 25, 1984 (Julian date Date Jan.'85 116) on AA and AP models... Models Affected 84 M,W

Bulletin No. T-85-44 The gaskets listed in this bulletin, P/N's File in Group 7 8639856 and 8639857, are now available as Number 116 a kit, P/N 8635976. Also an "E" clip Date Jan.'85 retainer, P/N 9431762, is required to Models Affected 84 L,S properly assemble the 3-4 accumulator piston (Figure 4).

Bulletin No. T-84-38A Steps # 3 through 9 of the "Service File in Group 7 Procedure" no longer apply to correcting Number 93 the delayed engagement condition. In Date Mar.'84 addition, the correct part number for the Models Affected 82-83 L,S pump intake check valve should be: 8635971 not 6839810 or 8639810.
