BROKEN A/C COMP. DISCH. PIPE INSTALL BRACKET AND CLAMP

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985-86 "J" MODELS WITH 2.0L ENGINE

Some 1985-86 'J' Models with 2.0L engines may experience a broken air conditioning compressor discharge pipe. If this occurs, a bracket and clamp to support the muffler is now available to prevent reoccurrence of the failure. Bracket and clamp support kit, Part Number 22535625, is now available from GM Parts and should be installed. The bracket can be installed by removing the compressor to bracket bolt and installing the bracket and clamp as shown in Figure 1.
