TAIL LAMP ASSEMBLY REMOVAL PROCEDURE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1986 Cadillac Cimarron

The following service procedure should be used when removing 1986 6JG69 style tail lamp assemblies.

Removal

1. Remove screws securing license plate to license plate pocket.

2. Remove screws, item 2, Figure No. 1.

3. Open rear compartment lid and remove four (4) nuts, Item 3, Figure No. 1.

4. Remove lamp assemblies item 1. Figure No. 1.

5. To install, reverse removal procedure.
