MANUAL UPDATE-SEC. 6E3/8A CRANK SENSOR AND WIRE COLORS

Wiring colors for circuits 573 and 574 on pages 6E3-A1-14, 6E3-A1-16, 6E3-A1-18, 6E3-A1-48, 6E3-C4-6, 6E3-C4-8, and 8A-22-1 of the 1987 Cimarron Service Information Manual are incorrect. Refer to Figure 1. The correct wiring colors are:

Pin A, circuit 573 ............ YEL Pin B, circuit 574 .............PPL

The crank sensor output voltage specified on page 6E3-A1-19 of the 1987 and page 6E3-A-19 of the 1988 Cimarron Service Information Manuals is incorrect. The correct output voltage range is .8 volts (800 mV) to 1.4 volts (1400 mV). Refer to Figure 2.
