SOME OWNERS MAY COMMENT ON A WATER LEAK FROM THE REAR DOOR GLASS AREA ALONG THE DIVISION POST GLASS RUN CHANNEL.
A MISLOCATED SEAL MAY ALLOW WATER TO LEAK THROUGH THE GLASS RUN CHANNEL RETAINER DELTA LOCKS.
RESEAL DELTA LOCKS.
SERVICE PROCEDURE - (SEE ILLUSTRATION)
1. REMOVE TRIM PANEL (SEE SERVICE MANUAL PROCEDURE).
2. PULL THE GLASS RUN CHANNEL DOWN ALONG THE UPPER REAR DOOR HEADER. (SEE ILLUSTRATION, REFERENCE #1).
3. MAKE SURE THE DELTA LOCK AREA IS CLEAN AND FREE OF CONTAMINANTS.
4. SEAL DELTA LOCKS WITH 3M ULTRAPRO SEALANT #08302, OR EQUIVALENT. (SEE ILLUSTRATION, REFERENCE #2).
5. RE-INSTALL GLASS RUN CHANNEL TO REAR DOOR HEADER RETAINER.
6. CHECK FOR LEAKS.
7. INSTALL TRIM PANEL.
