Preliminary Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling and SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the front seats. Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .

Lumbar Assembly, Front Seat

Tip

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  2. Pull outward at the bottom of the seat to release the retainers.
  3. Pull the bottom of the lumbar forward and up until the lumbar support wires disengage from the seat back frame.
