Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
2. Remove the seats. Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Replacement and Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
3. Remove the floor console. Refer to Console Replacement.
4. Remove the cowl side trim panels. Refer to Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement or Front Carpet Retainer Replacement.
5. Remove the lower center pillar garnish trim. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Garnish Molding Replacement.
6. Remove the front and rear carpet retainers. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement and Rear Carpet Retainer Replacement.
