The left and right rear air suspension position sensor provides a signal voltage between 0.5-4.85 volts to the air suspension control module. This signal voltage represents the wheel's position relative to the body. The air suspension control module provides a 5-volt reference and a low reference to the sensor.
This diagnostic procedure supports the following DTCs:

At power-up and continuous when ignition is activated
The air suspension control module senses a suspension sensor voltage below 0.5 volt or above 4.85 volts.
• | Air suspension functionality is suspended. |
• | SERVICE SUSPENSION message is displayed. |
The DTC will clear when the condition for setting the DTC is removed.
This DTC is set for a high or low signal to the air suspension control module from the air suspension sensor.
The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
This step checks the air suspension sensor data parameter.
This step tests for the proper operation of the circuit in the high voltage range.
This step tests for the proper operation of the circuit in the low voltage range. If the fuse in the jumper opens upon performing this test, the signal circuit has a short to voltage.
This step tests for a short to ground in the 5-volt reference circuit.
This step tests the 5-volt reference circuit for the air suspension sensor.
