Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the rear wheel and tire. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Support the rear suspension at the proper D trim height. Refer to Trim Height Specifications .

    4. Object Number: 1740703 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the air spring leveling sensor arm from the trailing arm.

    5. Object Number: 1740714 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the air spring leveling sensor electrical connector.

    6. Object Number: 1740711 Size: SH
  6. Remove the air spring leveling sensor nut and remove the sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1740711 Size: SH
  1. Position the air spring leveling sensor and install the nut.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the air spring leveling sensor nut to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  2. Connect the air spring leveling sensor electrical connector.

    3. Object Number: 1740703 Size: SH
  3. Connect the air spring leveling sensor to the trailing arm.
  4. Remove the rear suspension support.
  5. Install the rear wheel and tire. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Perform the suspension position calibration procedure. Refer to Suspension Position Calibration .
