Preliminary Procedure

1. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.

Heater Outlet Pipe Nut

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Tip
Using J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers, position heater outlet hose clamps aside and remove hose from the heater hose and engine.
