Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement FE1 and FE3

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the stabilizer link bolt and nut.
3. Remove the stabilizer link washers, insulators, and spacer.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




1. Install the stabilizer link insulators, washers, spacer, nut and bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the stabilizer link nut to 17 N·m (13 lb ft).

2. Lower the vehicle.

Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement FE7

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the tires and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
3. Remove the stabilizer shaft link bolt and nut.
4. Remove the stabilizer shaft link washers, insulators, and spacer.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




1. Install the stabilizer link insulators, washers, spacer, nut and bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the stabilizer link nut to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).

2. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
3. Lower the vehicle.
