Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement.
2. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement.
3. Remove the windshield frame reinforcement.
4. Disconnect the wiper transmission electrical connector from the main engine harness.
5. Push the wiper transmission electrical harness grommet into the plenum area.

Tip

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Windshield Washer System Module Assembly

Tip
Raise the forward edge of the module assembly out of the plenum panel first followed by wiper motor.
