Transmission Fluid Leak - keywords 4T80E bolt case MH1 transaxle

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Transmission fluid leak (small drip) from front lower transmission case bolt Lower transmission case bolt torque too low. The case bolt is allowing fluid to pass by the case O Ring.

Retorque front lower transmission case bolt to 60 NM, clean immediate area and recheck transmission fluid level. No other bolts require retorque. No seals need to be replaced.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
