The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Engineering has determined that a small population of the 2009 Cadillac DTS equipped with navigation radios may have an internal concern with the Digital Radio Receiver (DRR) causing no reception on the XM™ band, specifically channels 70 and below.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Replace the Digital Radio Receiver through the local Electronics Service Center (ESC).
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
