ENGINE BLOCK HEATER/HT4100 INSTALLATION PARTS

MODELS AFFECTED: ALL MODELS EQUIPPED WITH HT4100

Engine block heater parts have been released for all HT4100 engines through GMWDD. The parts required to install the block heater are as listed below, and should be installed as shown in Figure 1.

When connecting the heater cords to an electrical outlet, an outdoor extension cord with two female connections, capable of carrying 300 watts of current, must be used. These extension cords are readily available through automotive part and tool suppliers.
