HT4100 EQUIPPED CARS BUILT AFTER THE LISTED BREAKPOINTS (BELOW) WILL HAVE A NEW DESIGN POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY (P/N 1626130). C AFTER B.C. 178006 E AFTER B.C. 632444 K AFTER B.C. 692953 THE ACCESS HOLES IN THE PAST DESIGN PULLEY HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED. THIS CHANGE MAKES IT NECESSARY TO REMOVE THE POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE TWO PUMP MOUNTING BOLTS WHEN PUMP REMOVAL IS REQUIRED. THE REVISED POWER STEERING PUMP REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION PROCEDURES ARE AS FOLLOWS: 1.LOOSEN A/C MOUNTING BRACKET AND VACUUM PUMP BRACKET. REMOVE BELTS FROM POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY. 2.DISCONNECT PRESSURE AND RETURN LINES FROM PUMP. PLUG ALL OPENINGS TO PREVENT LOSS OF FLUID AND ENTRANCE OF DIRT INTO THE SYSTEM. 3.REMOVE POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY USING J-25034. 4.REMOVE TWO BOLTS SECURING PUMP TO ENGINE BLOCK AND REMOVE PUMP. 5.REVERSE PROCEDURE FOR INSTALLATION OF PUMP USING J-25033 TO INSTALL PULLEY. FILL REMOTE RESERVOIR, BLEED SYSTEM AND ADJUST BELTS PER SECTION 6B. THIS CHANGE IN PROCEDURE DOES NOT AFFECT PUMP R&R TIME ALLOWANCE (.9 HOUR) AS PUBLISHED IN THE LABOR TIME GUIDE.
