The procedure listed below should be followed when installing a fuel tank sending unit in a 1985 Ninety-Eight.
1. Insert tank sending unit into tank.
2. Hold the sending unit so that the plate of the sending unit is four inches above the ring on the tank.
3. Rotate the sending unit until the front of the fuel sock is pointing forward in the tank.
4. Lower the sending unit until it contacts the ring on the tank.
5. Position the sending unit in its final place and lock with the cam ring.
