REVISED SPEEDOMETER DIAGNOSIS CHARTS

Vehicles Affected; 1985 Oldsmobile 'C' Models

Bulletin 8-146 dated July 31, 1984 pertaining to speedometer diagnosis charts, contained incorrect information. The figures DO NOT replace the diagnosis charts in the 1985 Ninety - Eight New Product Service Information Manual as stated in the article.

The speedometer diagnosis charts in the manual should be used when diagnosing the digital cluster.

The speedometer diagnosis information in bulletin 8-146 should be used when diagnosing the 1985 Ninety-Eight quartz cluster.

In addition see Figure 1 for printed circuit information for the standard quartz cluster, and Figure 2 for the quartz cluster with the guage package.
