HOOD STRUT REPLACEMENT

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985-1988 DEVILLES AND FLEETWOODS, ----------------- AND PONTIAC H-CAR

A new hood strut, P/N 25528617, has been released for use on 1985-1988 DeVilles and Fleetwoods and Pontiac Bonneville. The new strut mounts in the opposite direction from the previous strut. The new strut should be mounted with the steel shaft attached to the hood and the black housing end attached to the fender.
