SOME OWNERS MAY COMMENT ON A "BOOM" SOUND WHEN THE REAR COMPARTMENT LID IS OPENED.
EXCESSIVE LOAD BETWEEN THE LID PULL-DOWN UNIT AND LATCH ASSEMBLY IS DEFLECTING THE LID INNER PANEL. AS THE LID IS OPENED, ENERGY IS RELEASED FROM THE INNER PANEL, RESULTING IN A "BOOM" SOUND.
1. ADJUST TWO (2) REAR BUMPERS ALL THE WAY UP.
2. RESET FLUSHNESS OF LID TO QUARTER PANELS BY ADJUSTING THE LATCH AND/OR THE LID PULL-DOWN UNIT.
3. RESET REAR BUMPERS TO SET UP/DOWN FLUSHNESS TO QUARTER PANELS WITHOUT EXERTING EXCESS FORCE TO THE PULL-DOWN UNIT.
