Beginning with production scheduled the week of July 12, each new 1994 Cadillac will be shipped with one set of gold keys and one set of nickel keys.
It was necessary to implement this reduction of keys as a running change, therefore, early production vehicles will not be affected. Please inform the appropriate individuals of this change and instruct them that Transportation Claims should not be submitted for the second set of gold keys.
Additional sets of gold keys may be purchased through Cadillac Stationery Control (1-800-892-2000) for $10.00 per ignition key and $3.50 per body key, plus shipping and handling.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
