For 1990-2009 cars only
In order to prevent parasitic load, disconnect the following components.
- The negative battery cable
- The radio fuse
Recharge the battery every 20-45 days until the hydrometer green dot is visible if the negative cable cannot be disconnected. Refer to Battery Charging .
Reset the following components once the vehicle is returned to service:

| • | The HVAC controls (if automatic) |
| • | The driver information center (if equipped) |
| • | The clock |
