Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 1996 🢒 DeVille 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Electrical 🢒 Spark Plug Wires Not Operating Properly

Removal Procedure
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement Intake Manifold Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 71512 Size: SH
  3. Remove the spark plug wires from the ignition coils.

    4. Notice: Twist the spark plug boot one-half turn in order to release the boot. Pull on the spark plug boot only. Do not pull on the spark plug wire or the wire could be damaged.

  4. Remove the spark plug wires from the spark plugs.
  5. Remove the spark plug wires from the intake manifold channel.
  6. Remove the complete spark plug wire assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the complete spark plug wire assembly on top of the engine.
  2. Install the spark plug wire channel onto the front camshaft cover and the intake manifold.
  3. Connect the spark plug wires to the spark plugs. Be sure that the boots are fully seated.

    4. Object Number: 71512 Size: SH
  4. Connect the spark plug wires to the ignition control module assembly.
  5. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement Intake Manifold Replacement .
