Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 20426 Size: SH
  1. Remove the intake manifold top cover.

    2. Object Number: 62964 Size: SH
  2. Remove the EVAP canister purge solenoid connector (1).
  3. Remove the canister purge solenoid vaccum lines.
  4. Remove the canister purge (2) solenoid valve bolt.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the canister purge solenoid (2) valve bolt.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 12 N·m (106 in lb).

  2. Install the canister purge solenoid vaccum lines.

    3. Object Number: 62964 Size: SH
  3. Install the EVAP canister purge solenoid connector (1).
  4. Install the bolt.

    5. Object Number: 20426 Size: SH
  5. Install the intake manifold top cover.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 2 N·m (18 in lb).
