Operate the rear sunshade.

Does the sunshade operate?

  1. Disconnect the RAP relay.
  2. Connect a test lamp between the battery positive voltage circuit of the RAP relay and a good ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 4

  1. Connect a test lamp between the battery positive voltage circuit of the RAP relay and the RAP signal circuit of the rear integration module.
  2. Turn the ignition ON.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

  1. Connect a fused jumper between the battery positive voltage circuit of the switch side of the RAP relay and the battery positive voltage control circuit of the rear sunshade module.
  2. Operate the rear sunshade.

Does the rear sunshade operate?

  1. Disconnect the rear window sunshade module connector.
  2. Connect a test lamp between the battery positive voltage circuit of the rear window sunshade module and a good ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Connect a test lamp between the battery positive voltage circuit of the rear window sunshade module and the ground circuit of the rear window sunshade module.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

  1. Observe the rear window sunshade position.
  2. Connect a fused jumper between the extend or retract circuit of the rear window sunshade motor and a good ground.
  3. Connect a fused jumper between the opposite circuit of the rear window sunshade motor and battery positive.

Does the sunshade operate?

  1. Connect rear window sunshade module connector.
  2. Disconnect the rear window sunshade switch.
  3. Connect a test lamp between the signal circuit of the rear window sunshade switch and a good ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Connect a test lamp between the signal circuit of the rear window sunshade switch and the ground circuit of the rear window sunshade switch.

Does the test lamp illuminate?
