Front Floor Console Compartment Door Latch Replacement DTS, Upper

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 568411 Size: SH
  1. Open the console compartment upper lid.
  2. Remove the 4 screws (1) that retain the armrest inner trim panel (2).
  3. Remove the armrest inner trim panel (2).
  4. Remove the 2 screws holding the console armrest latch to the console armrest.
  5. Remove the console armrest latch from the console armrest.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 568411 Size: SH
  1. Install the console armrest latch to the console armrest.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the screws that retain the console armrest latch to the console armrest.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screw that retains the front door trim plate to 2 N·m (18 lb in)

  3. Install the armrest inner trim panel (2).
  4. Install the armrest inner trim panel screws (1).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screw that retains the front door trim plate to 2 N·m (18 lb in)

  5. Check for proper operation of the console armrest latch, adjust the console lid latch if necessary.

Front Floor Console Compartment Door Latch Replacement DTS, Lower

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 568376 Size: SH
  1. Open the console compartment lid in order to access the console storage compartment.
  2. Remove the 4 screws (1), from the bottom of the console tray (2), if equipped with UV8

    3. Object Number: 568369 Size: SH
  3. Remove the console tray insert (1) from the console tray (2) in order to expose the console lid latch screws.
  4. Remove the 2 screws holding the console lid latch to the console tray.
  5. Remove the console latch from the console tray.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 568369 Size: SH
  1. Install the console latch to the console tray, if equipped with UV8.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the screws that retain the console lid latch to the console tray.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screw that retains the front door trim plate to 2 N·m (18 lb in)

  3. Install the console tray insert (1) to the console tray (2).

    4. Object Number: 568376 Size: SH
  4. Install the 4 screws (1) that retain the console insert tray to the console tray (2).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screw that retains the front door trim plate to 2 N·m (18 lb in)

  5. Check for proper operation of the console door latch, adjust the console lid latch if necessary.
