Service VME - Serviceability of the Upper Mount for Rear Shock Absorbers - kw absorber strut suspension

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

In the past, should the upper mount for the rear shock absorber require replacement for any reason, it could only be serviced by replacing the complete rear shock assembly. Recently, the mount has been released as a separate serviceable component. The part number for the mount is 22182918 and service stock is available.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
