Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 784719 Size: SH
  1. Remove the bank 1 secondary air injection (AIR) check valve. Refer to Secondary Air Injection Shutoff Valve Replacement - Bank 1 .
  2. Remove the 2 nuts securing the shut-off valve to the bank 1 AIR outlet pipe
  3. Remove the bank 1 AIR outlet pipe.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 784719 Size: SH
  1. Install the bank 1 AIR outlet pipe and new gasket to the bank 1 AIR shut-off valve.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the 2 nuts securing the bank 1 AIR outlet pipe to the bank 1 AIR shut-off valve.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the 2 nuts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the bank 1 AIR check valve. Refer to Secondary Air Injection Shutoff Valve Replacement - Bank 1 .
