Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2005 🢒 DeVille 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls - 4.6L 🢒 Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose/Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical-4.6L.
  2. Partially drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

    3. Object Number: 517972 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the surge tank inlet hose (2) from the surge tank (1).

    4. Object Number: 490598 Size: SH
  4. Remove the PCV fresh air tube (1).

    5. Object Number: 527521 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the surge tank inlet hose from the engine.

    6. Object Number: 527511 Size: SH
  6. Remove the 2 push nuts attaching the pipe to the engine.
  7. Remove the surge tank inlet hose/pipe assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 527511 Size: SH
  1. Install the surge tank inlet hose/pipe assembly to the vehicle.
  2. Install the 2 push nuts attaching the pipe to the engine.

    3. Object Number: 527521 Size: SH
  3. Connect the surge tank inlet hose to the engine.

    4. Object Number: 490598 Size: SH
  4. Install the PCV fresh air tube (1).

    5. Object Number: 517972 Size: SH
  5. Connect the surge tank inlet hose (2) to the surge tank (1).
  6. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  7. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical-4.6L.
